Our Dental Assistants

Debbie: Is a RDA who has worked with Dr. Orlando since 1999 and in the dental field since 1990. Debbie is the lead assistant in the back office and helps keep the office running smoothly. She and her husband Scott, have 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Away from the office she enjoys family time, reading, exercising, and the outdoors.

Jane: Has been a  Registered Dental Assistant since 1979. After taking some time off to raise 4 boys with her husband Tracy, Jane entered back into the dental field in 1996. She has worked with Dr. Orlando since 2002. Jane was the scheduling coordinator for 10 years then went back to  school to get an Extended Function License so she could help Dr. Orlando out by  placing fillings, cementing crowns, & taking final impressions. In her free time Jane like to take long rides on her road bike, camping on the beach in Kauai,  watching football, gardening & reading.

Our Hygienists

Theresa: Has worked in dentistry on and off for 14 years. I have been with my Orlando and Sorrick work family since June of 2014. My husband Kevin and I have three daughters Savannah, Emily and Josephine. In her free time Theresa enjoys watching her daughters cheer and play soccer. She likes to get outdoors to appreciate what our Northern California town has to offer, and you can find her and her family supporting the local High School football and basketball games.

Gayleen: started in dentistry as an assistant  in ’97 and received her  hygiene license in ’04. She married her high school sweetheart and best friend in ‘92 and they have two daughters. When she’s not watching them play soccer, Gayleen enjoys working in her garden, reading and taking walks along the river.  Gayleen is happy to be working in an office that feels like her work family. She enjoys working with each other and we have fun.  Hopefully, this helps our patients have a more pleasant dental experience.

Aly: Has been working in dentistry since 1990. She began as a chairside assistant between semesters of college. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Texas in 1994. Since then, Aly has worked in many dental settings in Utah, Idaho and California. She met my husband Rupert in San Francisco and they now have four boys. After starting with Dr Orlando in 2003, Aly followed her husband to Half Moon Bay for a job in 2006. In 2009, the family returned to Redding and luckily Aly was able to come back to this wonderful office part time. For fun, she likes to run, bike, cook and read.

Carrie:  Grew up in Aptos, California.  She moved to Chico shortly after high school and met her husband Eric while they were both going to college.  She moved to Redding and got married while attending hygiene school and has been married since 2005 and a hygienist since 2006.  She has 3 children, a daughter Madison-Mae and sons Tyler and Trevor.  She enjoys family fun, boating on the wonderful Northern California lakes, watching her kids play sports and teaching fitness classes as a Jazzercise instructor.

Nicci: Will be added at later date.
